In 2006, McCall passed a school bond to build a new McCall elementary school and high school and additional buildings at the Donnelly elementary school. The McCall Barbara Morgan Elementary School was completed in fall 2008. The school is a state-of-the-art facility that meets green standards and offers additional space for teaching and recreation. The new high school is scheduled for completion in fall 2009 and will also meet green standards and offers state-of-the-art classroom facilities. The State Board of Education honored McCall/Donnelly High School for academic achievement in 2007. The school offers advanced placement classes and is one of the few public schools in Idaho that has a dual credit partnership with the University of Idaho, enabling students to earn up to 25 college credits in high school. The school also offers accredited technical programs that allow students to immediately go into the workforce upon completion of high school.
